Production process of Ready Mix Concrete

Structural concrete normally contains one part cement, two parts fine mineral aggregates, and four parts coarse mineral aggregate. These proportions, however, are often varied to achieve the strength and flexibility required for a particular setting. In addition, concrete contains a wide range of chemicals that imbue it with the characteristics desired for specific applications. MCPL has set up two batching plants in Bari Badh, Gabtoli and Rupgang, Narayangang. The cement is mixed with the other ingredients: aggregates (sand, gravel, or crushed stone), admixtures and water. Aggregates are pre-blended or added at the ready-mix concrete plant under normal operating conditions. MCPL concrete is manufactured at modern fully computerized plant with four cement silos. The mixing operation uses rotation or stirring to coat the surface of the aggregates with cement paste and to blend the other ingredients uniformly. A variety of batch or continuous mixers are used to produce the perfect blend. Once the concrete mixture is ready, it is transported to the work site in transit mixers. MCPL has mobile and stationary pumpscapable of discharging concrete at high elevations and over long distance. MCPL is capable to manufacture concrete maintaining the grade and mix design as required and instructed by the client. A large fleet of the latest models of Transit Mixers and concrete pumps to suit different terrains and work sites ensures that our customers get timely and uninterrupted supply of premium quality concrete.
